So, for example a Headteacher could share a school events calendar with all members of the school community; a CPD calendar with staff and a Quality Assurance programme with just Heads of Department.
Google Mail can be set up in such a way that ‘send to’ privileges are limited and all mails sent by learners can be tracked, and permissions limited, to ensure that the safety of learners at all times.
The ability to select specific groups to share any of these apps with, or to send information to; enables teachers to ensure that guidance is targeted, with ease, to the right groups and helps to ensure that a wide variety of resources are made available by harnessing the flexibility of cloud computing.
